This Brooklyn-bred DJ began his path to the DJ booth as a youngster in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Dj Top 10 was able to experience music through spending time in several recording studios surrounded by up and coming hip-hop artists at the early age of twelve years old. During many studio visits, Dj Top 10 learned to master the science and art form of studio engineering. At the same time, he also became very skilled in music production and developed a solid, unwavering love of music; which led him down the path of becoming a party DJ.
Top 10 continues to be a student of the game, and while displaying great respect to the DJ culture he remains humble and always puts God first.
In 2010 Top 10 became part of the World Famous Bum Squad DJ Crew and was Regional Manager for the NYC Chapter before resigning to pursue other opportunites in 2014. He is also a Sea Awards nominee & won the IDJ Awards ''Club DJ Of The Year'' in 2011. Dj Top 10 is also a NY Manager/Member of the talented Fleet Djs Crew.
Since 2010 Dj Top 10 has worked with internet radio stations such as www.mix1620.com, www.xtreme104fm.com, www.damatrixstudios.com, and www.urbanlatinoradio.com. Undisputedly one of the hardest working DJs in the business, Top 10 is currently working on www.fleetdjs.com Saturdays at4pm EST, www.dtfradio.com every Saturday at 11am EST (Air it out Show) & 9pm EST (Latinos On Fire Show) , Top 10 is committed to his platform of showcasing new artists, and breaking new music, an endeavor he feels is an important yet often forgotten responsibility of the DJ industry. New artists looking to break their newest tracks can be showcased on the "Top 10 @ 10:10" segment on the "@Latinosonfireshow" on www.dtfradio.com; the segment allows up-and-coming artists to submit music to be included in a countdown for the hottest track according to votes from their supporters and/or listeners of the show.
Top 10 has played in several nightclubs and lounges in the New York City, New Jersey, Las Vegas, and Florida surrounding areas. He has also opened up for well known DJs such as Mister Cee, Funkmaster Flex, DJ Enuff, DJ Camilo, Dj Big Ben to name a few, plus many more. Top 10 has great things on the horizon; including plans to release a 'DJTop10' mobile app soon, as well as launching a new website on10NYC.com in 2015.
